New Years Traditions

A new year for me means new goals, adventures, and plans. Every year around New Year’s Eve or the first couple of days of the new year, I sit down and reflect on the past year. What went well? What didn’t go so well? How do I want to improve? I write it all down. Next, I start setting goals for the new year while usually sticking to the same categories unless life happens and things change. Those categories include; health, adventure, financial, spiritual, personal, and business. Setting these goals helps me work towards things that make me happy throughout the year instead of living on repeat.

Thanksgiving Traditions

When asked “What is your favorite thing about Thanksgiving?”, how can I just have one answer? Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it kicks off the holiday season where we spend extra time with friends and family. My favorite things about thanksgiving are; Pumpkin pie, cranberries, making lefse, playing a lot of board games, watching college football hopefully cheering on Texas A&M, playing darts, smoking cigars, and drinking whiskey.
